Project Evaluation Service

In order to give customers advice and guidance as to how they can approach their production challenges, Crest Solutions regularly perform Project Evaluations.  These allow specific parameters and key issues to be addressed without interrupting production processes on the customer's line.

Crest Solutions will replicate as closely as possible the customer's production environment and key factors such as lighting, fixturing, and conveyoring to create a like-for-like situation to the customer's process.  The appropriate vision & software solution can then be specified and tested to meet the production challenge.

issues that often are tested in Project evaluations include:

• Lighting (both white light and UV);
• Number of cameras required to cover entire inspection area;
• Distance of the camera from the part being inspected;
• Appropriate lens and camera speed;
• Fixturing to mount the camera onto the production line.
