We are currently recruiting for the role of Product Support Engineer. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing technical support to customers and working with the sales and R&D departments to develop and market the product to full potential.

The role requires a recognized third level qualification in a relevant discipline, a background in electrical/ electronic/ mechanical engineering is preferable. Initiative, a solid understanding of IT, good problem solving skills and a positive team-oriented attitude are all vital for this role.

Job Title:   Product Support Engineer

Job Summary: Customer Technical Support

Responsibilities: 

  • Provide technical support either remotely or in situ at customer sites
  • Equipment Installation at customer sites
  • Provide Technical expertise to the Sales group when readying equipment for customer demos, trade shows etc. 
  • Work with the Development group to develop and test new product features
  • Interact with both the customers and the development group to understand the product feature set

Requirements: 

  • A recognized third level degree in a relevant discipline, a background in electrical/ electronic/ mechanical engineering is preferable
  • Must have initiative, problem solving skills and a positive attitude
  • Enthusiastic and capable of working in a team environment
  • Possess good communication skills 
  • Must be computer literate
  • Excellent English language skills both written and spoken
  • An understanding of practical engineering processes will be a significant advantage
  • A full driving licence and the ability to travel both within and outside of Ireland will be necessary
  • Knowledge of industrial control and imaging systems would be desirable though not essential
